KTVX-TV needed a bold, expansive set with maximum versatility and flexibility that would set them completely apart from all their competitors and other stations in the market.

The set uses the station's newsroom as its primary background framed by a curved Main Background. Two distinct layers of diffused acrylic with frosted graphical and station branding etchlite pattern helps diffuse the newsroom activity.

DDG delivered a high-tech, modern and bold wraparound set the combines sleek, lighted diffusion acrylics with warm wood tones contrasted by clean, bright, bold and branded graphics that perfectly complements the station's "Taking Action Getting Results" branding.

Area to the left of the Main Background features a Multi-Purpose Stand Up area with 2 42" plasmas and 6 LCD's along the header. This area is primarily used for sports and traffic presentations. The desk rotates to have RPS as its alternate background where the station can display subtle motion graphics and live video and graphics feeds. The RPS area also doubles as a flexible interview set and Stand Up position for show opens and additional reporting.
