DDG's set design goals were to realize Channel 12's vision for their Set to be warm and contemporary stocked with state-of-the-art HD monitors giving added depth and greater contrast between the talent and backdrop. The cet finishes include rich warm two-tone woods combined with sleek contemporary metal finishes. This is contrasted with eye-catching color changing back-lit Plexi columns that makes the set extremely versatile and flexible to provide Channel 12 with as many different looks as possible.

The set features a sleek movable anchor presentation desk that accommodates four seated anchor positions. The anchor presentation desk is consistent with the design feature of the set background elements and combines multiple textures including laminates tops and back-lit color changing Plexi elements.

A main background area that features rear projection screen as a backdrop flanked by color changing Plexi columns, flat panel LCD’s and Hi-Tech control room graphics. A youthful, high-tech / high energy Sports Jam set with its own distinct look.  A multi-purpose, special presentation, relaxed informal interview, election coverage, demonstration area. Two mobile plasma diffusion kiosks that doubles up as additional standup areas throughout the set.
